I tried for months and months, waiting for a green light. Adversity is to be expected though. It is inevitable. Don&#8217;t let it detour you from following your dreams.<\/p>\n<p>Today makes a month since I stepped off my Delta flight into Laguardia. It still hadn&#8217;t hit me that I was moving from the small town where I grew up to the Concrete Jungle to pursue my passions. I heard if I made it here then I could make it anywhere.
